Most Liked

Diners frequently praise the quick service, perfect for families on the go. The menu favorites include the lobster roll, which many consider a must-try, and the clam chowder that warms the soul on chilly days. Guests love the crunchy onion rings and the crispy fries that accompany nearly every meal.

The mini golf course, with its fun challenges, complements the dining experience, making it a perfect spot for a fun-filled day out. Regulars enjoy the nostalgic feel of the place, often sharing that they’ve been coming here for decades with their families. Many patrons express their satisfaction with the cleanliness of the restaurant, highlighting the well-kept outdoor and indoor seating areas.

Most Disliked

Some customers mention occasional wait times, especially during peak hours on weekends. Although the restaurant is loved for its quick service, weekends can get crowded, leading to longer waits for tables and food during dinner eves.

A few diners express disappointment in certain menu items that occasionally miss the mark, suggesting that consistency can vary at times. Some seafood lovers wish for even more variety in the seafood dishes, while others point out that limited seating for larger groups can be a challenge during busy times. Overall, these concerns are minor and do not deter visitors from returning for the delicious fare.

Our family has been coming here for 40 years, and my 2 sisters and I are following right along. This place has hands down the best food on The Cape and Islands. Great family atmosphere along the beautiful Herring River. The owner brings your food right out to you and everything is always, ALWAYS amazing. This place deserves all the business and recognition!

The service was fast and friendly and if you just want a fat heapin basket of hot delicious friend shrimp you will be quickly introduced to one! Then, after you eat an irresponsible amount of sea commas, you can go out to the minigolf course and get emasculated by your wife in from of your snarky ten year old for hole after hole after deceptively challenging hole

Pleasantly surprised. Someone told me they had fried smelt, so I had to check it out. Tasty, lightly coated, perfectly cooked smelt. Who knew? Glad I found out. Place was very clean and orderly, nice comfortable atmosphere with several different areas to enjoy your dinner. Even outside or in the atrium. Friendly service, great prices, AND fried smelt! #IYKYK

I have come here since I was a kid, it's always been great! Reasonably priced, excellent food (for a fast-food type place). The crunchy fries are always good. My go-to is cheeseburger or hot dog plate and a rootbeer freeze. Pictured here is the chicken finger plate (comes w fries and cold slaw).

My family has been coming to Cape Cod since the 1970's and eating at the Weatherdeck since the 1980's. As everyone knows, there are many, many places for fried seafood all over the Cape, but this is consistently our favorite. All of the fried seafood and chicken items are fresh, crispy, and never greasy. We also enjoy their flame-broiled burgers. Great shakes and ice cream, too! Service is always efficient and friendly. A family-run, local business vibe for sure. Can't wait to be back this summer :)
